Kind and Generous
We spent three nights at El Faro, It is a new hotel and they are still doing some construction. The manager is very kind and generous. He offered a discount because of the noise of the construction midday. However, it is soon to be finished and we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless...I am looking forward to visiting once it is completed, as it is going to be a popular venue. The infinity pool is very pleasant and pool service is available. The shotgun style apartments are quite comfortable and staff is always available to provide a ride up the hill if you have already spent the day hiking. I thought this was a great place to stay in terms of value, service and location.

Best view in Manuel Antonio!
El Faro Beach Hotel does have the best view in Manuel Antonio. My husband and I stayed there for 5 days and we loved it. I couldn't believe they were actually containers we were staying in but it was pretty cool! There infinity pool in awesome, especially with that amazing view. You get free breakfast which was delicious and great service. The rooms were great with the exception of the showers. There was never a medium it was either cold or very hot water coming out. I know this hotel is very new so I am pretty sure that should be getting taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel! I would stay there again. I do not recommend this hotel to kids or someone who is handicap. The hill is very steep and dangerous but they have thier staff that helps you go up and down in a golf cart. There are stairs but no elevator. I enjoyed everything Costa Rica had to offer! PURA VIDA!!!

Very good Hotel in a very good location
The first thing you'll see at this hotel is the fact that its up a hill. This means that there is a great view, but you'll need to get up that hill. The hotel has a couple of golf carts and the staff will drive you up the hill if you need it - but the hill could be a big issue for those who have trouble climbing steps.
Apart from the hill, the location is great. It is literally next door to the ticket office for the Manuel Antonio National Park. There are quite a number of restaurants within walking distance, or 3 minutes walking from the bus stop to go to Quepos town (Approx 7 Kms).
Service was great, with great staff, and the breakfast is free.
Great Views
Excellent views, the best in Manuel Antonio, Hotel is only a couple months old.rooms are small but efficient use of space. Walking distance to beach and park. The staff provides excellent service. The only drawback is the walk up. The staff will give you a ride in a golf cart to the pool area which is a big help.

¡Pura vida!
This hotel might be the reason we visit CR again. The beach was part 1 of our trip here, and certainly the best way to begin. Adraine, who worked the front desk, went far beyond his duties while helping us during our stay. The owners were wonderful down to earth gentleman, breakfast was the best we've had during our CR visit. and the location. Well you'll have to see for your self.
